Baby Strong was born out of necessity. From birth, my son was textbook high needs and always wanted to be held. When I say always, I really mean it. As a personal trainer and daily exerciser, my “active world” was turned upside down when all of a sudden I had a baby that I couldn’t put down. I needed to stay active for my health and my sanity, so I had to get creative to figure out how to meet both of our needs. I went for daily walks and hikes carrying him, held him for weekly stair workouts and used him as my weight for resistance exercises. It worked! I loved it, he loved it, and I got in great post-pregnancy shape. Baby Strong was born out of a desire to share my experience with Cole with other new moms. Baby Strong is about spending time bonding with your baby while improving your health and building strength to do all of the things you need to do and want to do as a mom. The moms and babies featured on the Baby Strong cards are real moms with their babies, not fitness models paired with random babies. Baby Strong is a workout for moms and babies of all shapes and sizes. No matter your fitness level – start where you are, use what you have and do what you can.
